Discussing priorities

Lakes Entrance Action and Development Association (LEADA) has requested a meeting with the chief executive officer and senior officers of East Gippsland Shire Council and Cr Arthur Allen to discuss the progress on LEADA's four priority infrastructure projects.
The priority projects were based on the feedback from LEADA's infrastructure member survey held in June this year. The projects are the construction of a sports stadium, improvements to the highway and footpath on Jemmys Point, progress on walks including the Krauatungalung walk and plans for council's Palmers Road site.
LEADA has also asked that the details of how the Slipway will be managed and the need to upgrade Myer Street between Church Street and the Esplanade be placed on the agenda.
