Boat ramp plans advancing

During community engagement for the Marine Parade upgrade in Lakes Entrance it was identified there was a need to upgrade the Apex Park boat ramp and improve existing car park facilities.
East Gippsland Shire Council has developed a concept plan which is now available for community consultation.
Council reports the project area extends across the existing car park and will include dedicated disabled parking bays in close proximity to the boat ramp and public toilets, installation of a dedicated fish cleaning station in close proximity to the boat ramp, formalised footpaths and parking bays and informal overflow parking spaces.
Council is encouraging community feedback on the concept plan and wants to know what you think. They encourage everyone to complete the survey and state that feedback is important and will be considered.
"We want the concept design to reflect the interests of the community," council said in a statement.
