St Brendan’s back and busy

“What a difference a week makes,” was the comment from St Brendan’s Primary School’s principal, Matthew Hamer, after a temporary COVID-enforced closure ended last Wednesday.
“This week our students and staff have returned in full. Our students have never been happier to see one another and are interacting in such a beautiful manner,” the principal said.
“We have had the odd wet day resulting in indoor play, however, there have been no complaints, only smiles.”
The school was forced to close for more than a week amid a COVID scare which saw students in grades one, two and six catching the virus.
Mr Hamer reported that the school’s teachers have worked tirelessly all year to provide quality lessons both on-site and in a remote schooling settings and quickly adapted to the latest challenge.
