Fish a Farewell

Fish a Farewell

Deb and John Upton have run Fish a fare for just over 15 years, but they can finally put their feet up after selling the business recently.
Their official final day, last Thursday, was a busy one but they made time to reflect on the long journey they have taken, particularly running a very popular takeaway business.
The Uptons moved to Lakes Entrance 28 years ago from a farm in Shepparton.
Due to a sudden illness where Debra spent two weeks being diagnosed, then six weeks in St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne being treated, they decided to have a change of lifestyle.
“We had always holidayed in Lakes Entrance and made the choice to move here as the climate was better for Deb’s health with it taking a further 15 months for her to recover,” John said.
