Ramp rage

Ramp rage

Strong words are being used to describe the state of disrepair at the North Arm boat ramp in Lakes Entrance.
At a meeting at the Lakes Entrance Fishermen’s Club in July an announcement was made by Better Boating Victoria that improvements would start in mid-August and be completed by mid-December, before the Christmas holidays.
However, there has been no movement and local and out-of-town boaters are getting frustrated with the condition of the boat ramp and car park.
“It is appalling, the potholes are disgraceful, you could bury a car in some of them,” local resident John Pilgrim said.
“At the old boat ramp there is a pot hole that has been there since last Christmas.”
