Eight Acres of accommodation creativity

Eight Acres certainly has brought something new and innovative to Lakes Entrance -glamping.
Previously known as Lakes Entrance Country Cottages, new owners, Ellis Klok and Pete Jenkins, and their toddler, Jackson, and baby, Delilah, have been busy not only transforming the name, but the entire property.
Ellis and Pete have plenty of experience in the accommodation and hospitality industry having managed accommodation venues at Jervis Bay, prior to managing ski lodges at Falls Creek for five years.
“We really wanted our own property to work on and build up and this property hit the mark, it is close to town, but has that bush feel,” Ellis said.
“Plus it is so close to the beach and the snow.”
They couple took over the business in December last year, in the midst of COVID, but Pete reported they had good bookings over the Christmas holidays.
