Make good this Friday

The Lakes Entrance CFA will once again be involved with the Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital, with some differences due to COVID restrictions.
It is not back to the days when the fire truck did the rounds of the town, but the public can still donate and buy a raffle ticket.
“There will be four raffle points around town where you can purchase a ticket and donation tins will be set up,” John Upton, from the CFA, said.
“They will be situated at Fish a
Fare on the Esplanade, on the vacant block next to Footbridge Mini Golf, the old market shop near the newsagents and at the fire station from 8am onwards.
“Overall we have about 50 raffle prizes to be won.”
In the evening three fire crews will visit Kalimna Hotel, Lakes Sports and Entertainment Centre, the Central Hotel, Lakes Entrance Bowls Club and RSL, Sodafish Restaurant and Nicks Restaurant.
“They will sell tickets and then draw the raffle straight away at each venue,” John said.
