Testing times yet again

Anyone who was in Lakes Entrance between January 26 and 28 is being urged to get tested if they display even mild coronavirus symptoms.
The Department of Health and Human Services recorded a weak detection of coronavirus fragments in Lakes Entrance’s wastewater on January 28.
This could be from someone who has had the virus and is shedding fragments, and therefore not contagious, or it could be that there is someone contagious in the community.
As a result of this information, Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) has set up COVID testing facilities for people with symptoms.
Testing started last Thursday morning and is in the car, by appointment only, at 28 Jemmeson Street in Lakes Entrance. “If you are experiencing symptoms, we encourage you to make an appointment by phoning 5155 8445 during business hours or via our website using HotDoc or the HotDoc App. Please be aware that you will be required to create a Hot Doc account if you don’t already have one,” a GLCH statement
read.
